Dublin Gulch, premier traditional Irish music group from Butte , will appear in concert on Friday, January 8, 7:30 p.m. at the Myrna Loy Center . This event is sponsored by the Montana Gaelic Cultural Society for the benefit of the An Rí Rá Montana Irish Festival.

This will be the first Helena appearance of the band since their new CD, “ Dirty Old Town ” was released. Copies of the CD will be available for purchase. A crowd favorite for their combination of traditional jigs and reels and songs both humorous and poignant, the band is often seen in the company of Butte ’s Tiernan Irish Dancers.

International Guitar Night

International Guitar Night brings together four of the world’s foremost acoustic guitarists to perform their latest original compositions and exchange musical ideas in a public concert setting. Jason DeShaw was born and raised on the Hi-Line of Montana. Since his graduation from Carroll College in 2003, he has sang rural country music in over 30 states, Canada and in Europe. Since 2007, DeShaw has regularly performed at Nashville’s world famous “Tootsies Orchid Lounge” and showcased at the 2007 CMA festival.

This special performance will celebrate DeShaw’s official release of his 4th album: “Hi-Line.” All eleven musicians who participated in this project will take part in reproducing the album onstage.

Tickets for the "Hi-Line" CD release event are available at the Myrna Loy, Leslie's Hallmark stores and Capital Sports & Western. Please bring a non-perishable food item to the concert for God’s Love as an entrance donation.

The Klezmatics

John Jasperse Company presents Truth, Revised Histories, Wishful Thinking, and Flat Out Lies
